To whom it may concern,
I would like to share with you my experiences with Gina Krueger, and the reasons why I highly recommend her as an instructor to anyone interested in pursuing Dressage. I first met Gina when she had agreed to loan one of her Second Level Hanoverians for use in a USDF pre-certification clinic in Georgia, to me, a total stranger from the Midwest. Because it was almost impossible for me to trailer a horse twelve hours for a two day clinic, Gina didn’t hesitate to offer all that she could to make it possible for me to attend. Gina’s generosity is refreshing and uncharacteristic in the Dressage world today. However, I soon learned that it represented Gina’s total commitment to teaching others, and to sharing her knowledge, her horses, and herself.
Shortly after my first trip to Atlanta, I had the wonderful opportunity to live and train with Gina for four months last winter. Gina and her husband John have built a top class facility in a wonderful setting. The Kruegers and the students who work with them are very supportive, and their hospitality goes above and beyond what is necessary. Gina has a variety of horses from beginners through FEI, and she never hesitated to offer the use any of them. Her horses became my teachers, and I soon realized that no matter what the size or shape was of the horse that I was on, they all went the same way… with their backs up, their hind ends pushing evenly into both reins, and their hearts into their work.
Gina’s educational background has a strong classical foundation, and she has spent a great deal of time in Germany and throughout the United States pursuing her commitment to Dressage. She is a USDF Certified instructor, and she upholds the philosophies of riding " back to front", "being specific", and "less is more". Gina is always a pleasure to ride for, and she quickly makes all riders and horses feel comfortable and at ease, which is the best atmosphere for learning. A ride with Gina Krueger is a positive experience, specific in it’s goals, challenging to all levels, and always worth it!
